Evaluating my first photoshoot pictures
These are the best shots from my first photoshoot, the blue one for the double page spread and the orange one for the front page. However as it was taken with a mobile phone rather than a professional camera the picture quality isn't very good. I will therefore do a second photoshoot with a different camera. As well as this I will take advantage of this and ensure that there is nothing in the shot that shouldn't be (bag, camera etc) and make the model have more dramatic makeup that really stands out. I also may incorporate the bright Bollywood style colours into her makeup to make it even more stunning. Furthermore for the double page spread I will most likely use the same pose and outfit but have a different background which will represent the article of being at hoem with the artist and maybe use something like a rug that is more interesting in the background rather than just a plain white wall.

I want to use this picture for my front cover but it looks like a lifestyle magazine becuase of the hand gesture, as she is touching her hair it looks like it could be on a cosmopolitan magazine rather than a music magazine.

This shot was supposed to be for my contents page. As it includes a keyboard in the shot is clearly emulates the fact that it's a music magazine. However as this shot was also shot with a mobile phone camera I think it would be more effective to take the picture again, using a more professional camera. I would also fix the lighting as it looks a lot darker than the other shots taken.

This shot is something I want to keep when I do my second photoshoot. The microphone makes the magazine seem more like a music magazine. The shot also looks like the model is singing live to an audience which gives an impression of a more professional magazine shot as it's a performance.

If I were to use this shot I would have to adjust the brightness as the lighting makes the shot look unprofessional and doesn't suit the genre of bollywood where everything should be bright and happy.
