The contents page is presented in black and white with a bit of red as well, which shows the magazines house style as it is similar to the colours used on the front page. This suggests an organisation and sophistication to the magazine which gives the audience an impression of it's brand ethos. 

 

As well as this the magazine contents page doesn't include a lot of information or details of things found insdie the magazine which makes the reader want to flick through the pages to see what they want to read. This therefore showcases other pieces of the magazine that they may not have initially been interested in. 

 

The picture has the artist looking straight out into the camera which is conventionally in music magazines and connects the magazine with the reader. His facial expression also is a big suggestion of the genre of R&B as it is a typical look you would expect an artist to have. 

 

Moreover the contents page uses design elements in the background which presents the magazine as more attractive and can also be included in the house style if it's used in every ecition.
