Possible Locations
I consider this as a possible location for me when I'm start my construction of the front page as it is a plain wall so it will be easier to remove the background if necessary as most front covers of music magazine are done in studios as oppose to outside.
This location also uses a plain wall and it has a better source of natural lighting, however the stairs and radiator are in the shot which makes it clear that it is a house rather than a studio and therefore makes it look less professional. I could shoot at this location for my doulbe page spread as it is more relaxed and usually about either seeing the house and the life of the artist from an inside view or it is about their life so far which links in.
This location may make it difficult in terms of colour scheme and having the right look as there is already a bold background I may have to suit my picture and house style around it for it to fit, but it also has a good source of light which is important for a bollywood/indipop magazine as it is usually bright.
I decided to use this location as it has a good source of light and the white wallls make it easier to see text on.
This is one of the only locations that is outside and the advantage of this is it challenges stereotypes of music magazines as most don't have external shots as their front page so it sets it a part and would establish my 'brand' however it may present itself as more of gardening magazine as that would typically be placed outside for the front cover shot. As well as this as it is on a wall the text for the magazine may not show up clearly on the background which would be a problem.
