Hollywood Records, inc is an American record label under the ownership of Disney Music group which focuses on pop, rock, alternative, hip hop and country. So it has various genres but mostly focuses on pop music.
Artists currently signed to the label are; Bea Miller, Demi Lovato, Lucy Hale and Queen.
It was founded in 1989 by Michael Dammann Eisner to develop and promote the careers of a wide variety of artists in various genres.
it's first major success was when it aquired the North American rights to Queen's entire catalog for $10 million and generated nearly $94 million in revenue for Disney from 1991 - 1995.
It is known for owning the rights to Disney Channel stars such as Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas and Bella Thorne.
