I did a pitch with my target audience.
My audience suggested that I need to deepen the element of suspense with the protagonist's ex being attacked.
They also suggested that I include fire as a motif in my video.
A use of instruments was also suggested by my target audience
The action taken ...
- To introduce the character of the protagonists ex earlier and I decided to have a scene where he is eating or just doing something normal so the audience won't see it coming when he is attacked and I plan to use the motif of witchcraft by linking the idea that the bite he takes is what enables the protagonist to control him.
- I have decided to have a scene where the protagonist starts a fire to symbolise passion and conflicting hatred for her ex.
- As well as this I have decided to use an instrument in one of the scenes to strengthen the idea of an artist.
PITCH
I also did a pitch to my teacher and her feedback was:
- to establish a set style in terms of clothes that is more grunge looking
- the girl I was going to use in my music video looked too young and was not 'made up enough'
- the abbey ruins location was more industrial and needed to be more woods-y.
- I needed to find a warehouse to shoot in.
Action Taken:
I then did another pitch with my target audience showing them what I had impoved with their ideas. Here is the prezi I used after I got their feedback and updated my pitch.
I presented them with a tick box question to see what pitch they preferred.
