This music video uses it's music genre to influence the feel of the music video. Melody's Echo Chamber comes under the genre psychedelic rock and the connotations of the music video suggests and gives the impression that the viewer is on drugs and therefore will be a convention of the genre. It does this as the transitions and effects added on are blurred and move fast and out of focus.
The length of the shot for the first shot is around 12 seconds which isn't typical of most music videos that usually have a sequence of shot shots. The rest of the shots in the music videos are around 7 seconds each showing various angles and camera shots.

There is no narrative in the video as it just seems to showcase the artist having fun on a day out. This however is successful at bringing the audience closer to the artist and creating some exclusivity to the viewer as they are able to see the artist in ways they cannot on a day to day basis, or through over means such as a magazine, song or a concert.
The clips reflect the music as they are quite drawn out whether it be slow motion effects or just a long shot, as is the singing. The music playing is slow too so what is being shown on the screen is therefore able to link to it which puts more of a focus on the music / song.
