Iconography is when the elements such as mise-en-scene, camera movements and effects are repeated so much they become typical to the genre and the audience are able to identify the genre easily.
The genres of the song I plan to use comes under folk rock and indie pop/rock. The iconography I have researched into is Folk Rock as I intend to take these conventions and make them edgier to represent indie and this way elements of all the genres are found within my music video.
